BEHIND-THE-WHEEL DRIVER TRAINING
The Driver Education and Training courses at A Plus Driving School are designed to meet the social responsibilities and legal requirements you need to become a legal driver in California. The Department of Motor Vehicles minimum requirement for Driver Training is six-hours of behind-the-wheel training.
How and What We Teach
A Plus Driving School provides an atmosphere that is informative, creative and friendly. You will receive essential information concerning knowledge of the laws and the system, including:
Your Convenience Is Important To Us- Causes and Prevention of Accidents
- Signs, Signals, and Highway Markings
- California Vehicle Codes
- Rules of the Road
- State and Local Motor Vehicle Law and Ordinances
- Defensive Driving Techniques
We will pick you up and drop you off almost anywhere within the San Lorenzo Valley -- at home, school, practice, or any place arranged in advance.
You will never have to share the car with another student. We focus entirely on you and provide the training you need.
Scheduling: You can take Driver Training any day of the week with an appointment. Behind-the-wheel driver training takes three days (two hours per day; we do not book one-hour appointments) to complete, though it is best NOT to take the lessons too close together - practicing between lessons is imperative!.
You must possess a valid permit to schedule driving time. AND please schedule your appointments as far in advance as possible.
